So that we may further learn to cooperate, and hurdle the obstacles of fear that impede our good works... Human beings live their lives as though every decision they make affects their ability to survive, and that everyone else's decisions and interests compete with one's own ability to survive. This breeds chronic fear and anxiety, collectively and individually. I don't believe in "decisions" any more. The motivation to "decide" is harmful if the underlying mentality and psychological state is a fearful, "choose or die". Such a mind set, especially when cooperation and synergy are called for, is counter-productive. It requires vigiliance to guard one's mind against such decision-making processes when the unconcious intentions behind them are rooted in unrecognized fear. I prefer to believe that one is guided, throughout a lifetime, to recognize truth in every situation and in every being. That the Universe is safe, friendly, and abundant. "Decisions" in this experiential frame of mind are merely points of growth and expansion. They show when you've gained greater conciousness, clarity, and awareness of truth. They show that you listen for guidance from higher sources and act upon it as you recognize it. They can be effectively shared because they are essentially non-threatening, and can be generally recognized by others as such. They form a sound basis for group cooperation. 2. So that we may remember to relax with our work...(thanks, Julie!) "The best stuff comes out of play...If you think about it, PLAY is learning in its purest form, unencumbered by academia, textbooks, and rules. In play you make your own rules as you go along; and THAT is the truth, essence, and experience of BEING...I am alive, reacting and thinking as I go along." May your life's work be filled with wonder, joy, truth, and loving service to others! Sincerely, Dan E.
