It has really made everyone much more aware of issues and perspectives that used to be submerged at UWT. It is much needed. Most organizations around here ebb and flow. Maybe its ok to be dormant at times, and let things pick up again when the spirit moves. Its really only a few people who move things, and the danger is they burn out or get tired of the worry of keeping something going. If there's a way to maintain a nominal organization without too much stress, its important to keep it alive, to fight (or celebrate) another day. ********************************** Michael Honey, Associate Professor African-American, Ethnic and Labor Studies and American History University of Washington Tacoma 1900 Commerce St. Tacoma, WA 98402 253-692-4454 phone 692-5612 fax .
