U.S. Secretary of Education Richard Riley will host the February Satellite Town Meeting on reading instruction - a free, live, interactive teleconference about how successful schools are improving the teaching of reading. JOIN! Join thousands of people in sites across the nation to view the program and ask your questions to the Secretary and his distinguished guests. You'll learn about the exciting consensus on research-based reading instruction that promises to end the "reading wars" and to significantly raise reading achievement for all students. What works in the classroom? Can our whole school participate? What roles can tutors, families and communities play? NETWORK! The Satellite Town Meeting offers an opportunity for networking with people across the nation who share your commitment to children's learning.
