Hi, Didn't get to go to the workshop but I was in a meeting with administration yesterday to get a procedure established and questions answered. Debbie Fockler wanted me to ask the List Serve some questions. First, which office at your schools does Residency? THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE PROCESSES RESIDENCIES FOR NEW STUDENTS. THE = REGISTRATION OFFICE PROCESSES THEM FOR CURRENTLY ENROLLED STUDENTS. Second, which office handles the 1079 process? BOTH. Third, what is your timeline for students to return the Affidavit? WE FOLLOW THE SAME TIMELINES FOR RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS. Fourth, is this part of the admission process? YES. And last but not least, what is the latest information regarding Visa holders. We have had students in the past who were in high school and on dependent Visa's such as H2, J2, etc. As of this date none have requested an Affidavit. WE NOW HAVE OUR FIRST AFFIDAVIT.
