Don't forget about the History Writing Center.

Many students are finding it extremely helpful to go over their papers
with a tutor in the HWC. Tutors can help at any stage in the writing
process--from thesis and outline development through the final draft.

The Writing Center tutors don't grade your work, so the pressure is
off. You can get the help you want in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

This incredible service is free!  It just takes a little planning ahead on
your part.

	--Call (543-5692), email (hwc@u.washington.edu), or drop by to
          make a half hour appointment.

		Drop ins are fine, but usually we are already
		with another student. Remember, there are lots of
		other students with papers due at the same time as you.
		Make that appointment now and avoid the rush

	--Drop off a copy of your paper a day ahead of time.
