Lionhearts Tournament is the annual martial champions tournament for the Barony of Madrone, held the third weekend in June. Heavy weapons, rapier and archery tournaments will be held on Saturday. As a special treat for the archers, we will have York rounds on Sunday! This year sees the first Inspiration's Prize Tournament at Lionhearts. Prizes from Sunday's heavy weapons tournament will be awarded directly to the inspiration of the victor. Prizes include card-woven trim, a poem composed in honor of the inspiration, and a banner with the arms of the inspiration. Other activities include: hands-on classes and workshops (including boot felting) glow-in-the-dark bocce Drama Guild performance Discussion of medieval and Renaissance philosophy (hosted by Fru Jorunn and HL Alanus) Sven's BBQ ... sponsored by Port de l'eau Wyewood's Chocolate Potluck Site opens at 3 pm June 15 and closes at 5 pm June 17. Site is discreetly wet.
