The Lionhearts web page has been updated to include information on
scheduled activities, rules for the rapier tournament, and a map of the
site.  Please stop by http://www.drizzle.com/~celyn/lionhearts.html 

Extra dayshades are needed for the lists and chirurgeon tables.  If you
have any extra dayshades that you would be willing to loan out for the
weekend, please contact the autocrat at celyn@drizzle.com or 253-383-2518.

We do not currently have any activities scheduled for children.  If anyone
would like to see kid's activities, please contact the autocrat about
volunteering.

Anyone interested in teaching a class or workshop at the event, should
contact Lady Leticia Troischesnes at isatia@qwest.net.


Lionhearts Tournament is the annual martial champions tournament for the
Barony of Madrone, held the third weekend in June. Heavy weapons, rapier
and archery tournaments will be held on Saturday. As a special treat for
the archers, we will have York rounds on Sunday! 

This year sees the first Inspiration's Prize Tournament at Lionhearts.
Prizes from Sunday's heavy weapons tournament will be awarded directly to
the inspiration of the victor. Prizes include card-woven trim, a poem
composed in honor of the inspiration, and a banner with the arms of the
inspiration. 

Other activities include: 

hands-on classes and workshops (including boot felting) 
glow-in-the-dark bocce 
Drama Guild performance 
Discussion of medieval and Renaissance philosophy (hosted by Fru Jorunn and
HL Alanus) 
Sven's BBQ ... sponsored by Port de l'eau 
Wyewood's Chocolate Potluck 


Site opens at 3 pm June 15 and closes at 5 pm June 17. 
Site is discreetly wet.

$12 weekend/$8 day (adults) 
$6 weekend/$4 day (ages 13-17) 
free (12 and under) 
family cap of $30

Take Highway 18 East to Auburn 
Take Highway 164 East to Enumclaw 
Take Highway 410 East (also called Roosevelt Ave.) to 284th Ave SE 
Turn Right on 284th Ave SE; Fairgrounds are on left side
