To shorten it = means either less information, less networking, or a very concetnrated = approach. Re: whether Moses Lake or Spokane-I, obviously would prefer = Moses Lake since I=27d have 6 hours of driving for a 5 hour meeting. Re: = conference call--would work, but would lose the great informal networking = that takes place. If you might the Feb. meeting, assume it would be = March, July, November, which is fine. During the winter especially it is = harder=20 for some to make it to meetings so here are some ideas we had. Could = you=20 tell us if this would help you all attend the assessment meetings. =20 1. Instead of having 4 meetings in Olympia, Mt Vernon, Spokane, and=20 Ellensburg - continue with our summer schedule of 3 sites - Olympia, Mt=20 Vernon, Moses Lake.=20 2. Allow for the option of people who would like to conference call = into=20 the meetings. 3. Start the meetings a little later (10am) to allow for drive times = for=20 those further away and end no later then 3:30 so everyone can get home=20 earlier. =20 These where the things I could think of - let me know if there is=20 anything else and what you think of these ideas. I know the winter=20 months are difficult to coordinate meetings and we want everyone to be=20 safe so... if there is anything else we can do?
