Intern will work closely with the Executive Director to seek out media coverage for the organization. Duties will include monitoring local media for coverage of reproductive rights issues, writing press releases and letters to the editor, and building the organization's list of media contacts. Prospective intern must be confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Must have previous experience and/or coursework in writing, journalism, or media. This is a paid internship offering a stipend of $500 per month. Intern will work 15-20 hours per week.
