A week (or two?) back, there was an enquiry about ancient authors on astronomy and astrology. What follows is a very brief, and very far from complete, bibliography of editions and translations of ancient Greek and Latin texts related to astronomy or astrology. Others on the list will no doubt be able to provide numerous addenda and corrigenda. Those interested in such texts should certainly consult the bibliography of Goold's Loeb Manilius (1992 : cxiii-cxxiii), which includes an extensive list of ancient authors on the subject, with references to critical editions. The list below is limited to editions and translations I have seen, except in the case of works too recent to appear in Goold's bibliographical addendeum of 1992. Items I have not seen myself are marked with an asterisk (*).
