PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION ABOUT HISTORY REQUIREMENTS:

Dear History Majors:

Please note that the 5 credits of HIST 498 or HSTAA 470, 471, 472, 473
(history seminar or colloquium) completed at the University of Washington is
a core requirement.  It does NOT apply towards other requirements such as
European, US, Non-Western, Pre-modern, etc..  IT, HOWEVER, DOES APPLY
TOWARDS THE NEEDED 25 CREDITS OF UPPER DIVISION WORK.  Please make your
plans accordingly.
