This is your first email from President Grant Taylor. Let me just say that I am exicted about this position and am really looking forward to continueing the tradition of making APO a great thing to be a part of. Next fall will be filled with APO service and fun. If you are interested in helping make APO the wonderful organization that it is, I encourage you to apply for one the the many appointed postitions that are available for fall term. If you feel a calling for any of these positions please email me as soon as possible. I would like to make the appointments soon. It is my goal that before fall term gets rolling all of the people in appointed positions will have a clear understanding of their responsiblities. They are as follows: 1. Rush Chair: help the Pledge Director and specificaly organize rush week which will be the 2nd week of school. 2. Fundraising Chair: help APO get some money to do fun stuff. (hub traffic count, alumi fundraising drive) 3. Fellowship chair: organize fellowship events for APO memebers. Help make APO a fun organization 4. PR director: Get the word out about APO. (daily articles, newsletters) 5. Sunshine Chair: Bring a little bit of sunlight into APO members lives with spontanious acts of kindness. (Birthday cards etc.) 6. Historian: Document the acitivies of APO for future generations of APOers. (scrap book, etc.) 7. Senator: I have been informed that if we wanted we could have a seat on the ASUW senate. anyone interested in Student Gov.? 8. Alumi sec.: maintain communication between GA and the NW alumi ass. Keep alumi informed of our activities and send out invites for ceremonies. .
