All actives should come to this, if you can drive..please e-mail Rob at ser@u.washington.edu if you can drive and also to sign-up if you haven't yet at the last GBM. This is a good chance to get in those much needed hours before this term ends!!! Leslie:) Hello fellow pledges, After making several phone calls and about the same amount of e-mails sent out, the pledge class project for 1998 is finally set up. On Saturday January 10, 1998, we will be heading out to the World Concern facility to sort clothes and seed packets. Below are the details. *We will be leaving at from McCarty Loop at 10:00, which seems to be the consensus on the time of departure. *When we arrive there we will be split into two groups, one which will do seed packets and one which will do clothes. *At this time, we will be trained on what we are supposed to do, and how to do it. This should take no more than 30 minutes. *Afterwards, the groups will get started and, I would imagine, work as long as they like, until 5:00, which should be the latest anyone leaves. _______________________________________________________________________________ cont. I think these are all the details. We will be meeting in McCarty Loop. . .and we will need drivers! Hopefully the entire pledge class will be attending this project, so we will probably need atleast 5 people to drive. I will have directions and contacts by the end of today. Please, if you haven't already informed Maeva or I about you coming to this, let us know so I can give World Concern an idea of how many are coming. Thanks! Good luck on finals to all and have an awesome vacation! Robert Veliz, Jr. Pledge Class VP of Service. (Thanks Maeva-) .
