I'm waiting to hear from the original course instructor regarding the text book he has been using. But in the meantime, may I ask what List Members would use (or are using) as texts and primary readings in teaching such a course? Keep in mind that it is a ten week course taught to undergraduates in a Religious Studies Department. And in many ways the course is used as something which tries to establish the Greco-Roman religious matrix into which early Christianity was born. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
