For all you new SCAdians out there who aren't too comfortable with sewing
yet (I'm looking at you, Elizabeth :), I highly recommend checking out
Simplicitys new line of costume patterns.  They look even better this
year, and new patterns include sideless surcotes and Italian Ren!  I think
these are a good place to start if you're not ready to do all your garb
research from scratch, and some of them are fairly simple to make.

If you want too see the costume supplement catalogue, I'll have it at this
months project night, 5/17.
