New in the Monitor is a guest column, this first one by Mr Huseyin Polat, ILO-INDISCO Programme Coordinator. The INDISCO programme is a special programme launched by the International Labour Organization in 1993 as an inter-regional support mechanism to help indigenous peoples to strengthen their local organizations an cooperatives.
