Expanding Federal Work-Study and Community Service Opportunities:
A New Resource Guide from the Department of Education

Contains helpful information about federal work-study requirements for
community service, federal match waivers for America Reads initiatives,   
and examples of effective practices for integrating community service and   
federal work-study programs.

Copies of this handbook have been distributed to the President's Office   
and the Finanacial Aid Office of all universities and colleges.  Also
this document is now available online at the Department of Education's
