Figueira, T. Corey Breenan, and Rachel Hall Sternberg (Perseus Publishing, 2001). It has chapters on such matters as "Leadership," "Management-Employee Relations," "Hiring and Firing," "Delegation" etc.--- all adorned with quotations from philosophers and anecdotes from ancient history. How many CEOs, I wonder, have this handy little volume on their desks or nightstands? David Lupher Classics Dept. Univ. of Puget Sound .
