The conference will be held in collaboration with Community-Campus Partnerships for Health (a new national organization) and the National Committee on Partnerships for Children's Health (a new program funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention focused on bringing communities and higher education together on behalf of children). At our last meeting, the CCP group agreed to make this our first major collaborative activity. PLEASE NOTE: We are defining "health" broadly here...we don't just mean the health professions or the direct provision of health care. Every discipline and program will have something important to contribute. We will discuss this further at the meeting. Please RSVP to me directly at sarena@u.washington.edu if you can attend.
