To accommodate this work, they plan to close the ramp to northbound I-5 at NE 50th beginning May 6th. This ramp will close at 7 a.m. on May 6, and will remain closed for ten days, 24 hours a day. The closure will result in more traffic coming into Seattle Transportation's construction area on NE 50th Street and into the existing detour route as drivers look for another way to reach northbound I-5.
