To verify the validity of our recommendations and feasibility of meeting the physical requirements, we identified the following data needs. 1) HYDROLOGY i) downstream gauging records. (**Available) ii) well logs (Status not known - check with King County) iii) storm water runoff (Check with King County, e.g. calculations for existing culvert design) iv) locations of springs (Possibly requires field inspection or aerial photo analysis) v) channel modification (Possibly from historical air photos or King County or town records) 2) SEDIMENTS AND SOILS: i) soil survey (**Available) ii) field verification of soil survey at critical locations using soils cores, e.g. (Requires field work) iii) identification of sediment sources and erosion process (Requires field work) 3) TOPOGRAPHY i) survey data to determine existing channel slope and topography of potential relocation site (Unknown, probably requires field work) ii) survey to determine grade control locations, e.g. culvert elevation (Should be available from King County) ii) channel geometry dimensions - Newaukum and Spring (Probably requires field work) 4) HISTORICAL AERIAL PHOTOS (Probably available but quantity and quality unknown) i) stream plan form and position ii) vegetation type and distribution .
