You can see a summary of results on the web at http://www.metrokc.gov/health/phnr/eapd/reports/ethhlth.htm You can order a copy from that web site -- you can also send specific questions to Mike.Smyser@metrokc.gov. I've seen the survey but can't put my hands on a copy right this minute -- I don't know if it asked about marijuana, but it did ask about alcohol and tobacco use. You can access national BRFSS results (for alcohol & tobacco use prevalences) from the web site http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/brfss The 1997 statewide BRFSS has only 152 respondents with Hispanic origin. Small numbers may make the %s unreliable (have wide confidence intervals). For Alcohol use in the past 30 days 54.9% yes 45.1% no (no missing or refused) For ever smoked (100 cigarettes in lifetime): 42.4% yes (n = 62) 57.6% no (n = 90) (no missing or refused) For current smoking 21.4% yes (n = 27) 78.6 no (n = 125) Good Luck in your inquiry -- reply if you have any questions about the BRFSS data!
