Here I am emailing you guys again.. Today we did slum ministry for half the day and went to the "Ancient City" for the other half. At first we couldnt understand what they were calling it so I thought we were going to some "Asian Center", so when we got there I was shocked...haha. Oh well. It's basically the old capital "Siam" where the king used to live before and during the war with burma. We took a ton of pics ..! There were idols everywhere...some were over 30 feel tall and all of them were worshiped...I couldnt bring myself to say any of these things were beautiful...more than anything I felt really sad...knowing that these people worshiped something so cold and so dead...so false! We ran across a mother and her sick son... and we prayed for his healing...I trust it was a divine appt and God will continue to minister to them somehow. I'm officially sick of thai food...i'll admit it ... mcdonalds sounds pretty good right now...but then again...I know I'll crave authentic Thai food when I get back to seattle. Let the count down begin....11 more days till we take out flight out...perfect timing...on my birthday..haha...happy 22nd to me. :) We're taking tons of pics and video so everyone can enjoy our trip together when we get back... p.s. pj your aunt is cool...she keeps buying my ice cream, i'm fat now.
