Figuring that not many people at this show would ever have heard of Failure, and thinking it would be cool to sport a shirt that no one had ever seen before, I wore my brand-spanking-new list shirt. I had a few people ask about the Cyrillic, but that was about it..UNTIL I was putting my name on a mailing list for one of the bands that played. This band, Puller, noticed my shirt AND asked me about Failure. They said they were friends of Molly McGwire and are very interested in playing with Failure. Puller was pretty good, and they did a really cool cover of a Garth Brookes song, so I of course gave them the web address and they in turn gave me their address and phone number, no doubt hoping that somehow it will make it's way into Ken's hands... So folks, wear those shirts, you never know who might notice them. OK, so it wasn't THAT interesting of a story, just a pretty random thing to happen. Besides that, all I can say is: Shoveljerk is NO Black Happy... --jacki .
