I asked that you FAX a copy to the regional administrator who is the person most directly responsible for approving this action, and who has delayed for over a year, after establishing but never convening a commision, in hopes that we would all just go away. It is very important that we continue to let it be known that we are monitoring the situation the situation from abraod and thatit won't go away. Both the Yugan ecosystem, and the nearly 1,000 indigenous Khanty living on their traditional lands which they expect the biosphere to spare from oil development, require our help. Several of you have tried to FAX your letters and have not been able to get through. All the numbers in Surgut code area have been changed, we have learned. the person to address your letters to and his new FAX number are: Mr. Alexander V.
