Brett To: Civil Engineering Subject: sabbatical house available on the eastside Dear CE grads: My family and I will be (hopefully) soon leaving for a 6 month sabbatical in New Zealand for the months of Jan to the start of July. So far we have not found renters for our house, and if we don't soon we will probably be prepared to rent it out for as little as 1/2 its market rate. Right now we are asking for $900/month, but as said are prepared to go even lower if need be. The downside for our house is we live on the eastside!!!!! Apparently people affiliated with the U prefer to live closer to the campus. I wish somebody would have told me that when I started here (or that they paid asst profs enough so that they could afford to live nearer to campus - but that is a another matter). Anyway, if you are at all willing to considering living on the eastside (we live very close to Totem Lake) or know somebody else, please drop me an email and we can see if we can work out a deal. We don't want to leave our house empty (of people that is) while gone and we are willing to offer "a deal" on the place. Below is a description of our house. BOTHELL/KIRKLAND $900/month FURNISHED HOUSE AVAILABLE JANUARY 1st THROUGH JULY 1st (6 MONTHS OR LESS) - 3 BEDROOMS, 2.5 BATHS - LARGE GUEST/FAMILY ROOM - LARGE BACKYARD, W/DECK & SPA - GAS FIREPLACE AND WOOD BURNING STOVE - 2 CAR GARAGE (LOTS OF ROOM FOR STORAGE) - EXTENSIVE NEW FLOORING/UPDATED KITCHEN - ON CUL DE SAC IN QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD - NORTHSHORE SCHOOLS - 1/4 MILE FROM 405 EXIT 22 /NE 160TH (425) 273-1857 Michael T.
