This is the last thing I'm trying to do before I going home for the holidays (!) I have a grid layer, and for each grid point I want to attach the name of the county that the grid point falls into. I think that converting the grid layer to a point coverage, and then using a simple intersection would work. The trouble is I cannot figure out how to convert a grid into a point coverage in ArcGIS.
