The flavor of the week for the week of February 25th is... The Banana Pecan Pancakes at Mom's Resturaunt in U village. Man! This pancake is unbelievable! I'm not usually a believer in breakfast type food, but this pancake defeated my fears. Unlike most fluffy golden looking PC's mom's serve's a THIN pancake, similar to a crepe but with fabulously crispy edges that crumble in your mouth! The whole PC is a toasty brown and thin enough to roll up. The best part? The hidden banana's in the middle! This PC has slices of banana's hidden throughout the inside creating a delectable suprise for your mouth. If that's not all, the entire PC is topped with candied pecans. Try eating it this way... 1) spread the creamy butter genrously 2) Drizzle just a bit of syrup and spread it on top. 3)roll up the PC crepe style and enjoy! The PC is crispy, smooth, buttery, sweet, and nutty all at the same time!!! I give Mom's Banana Pecan Thin Pancakes *** stars.
