I just switched from slackware to debian, and after installing debian I
get the following error when I attempt to run startx:

> Fatal server error:
> Cannot open mouse (No such file or directory)

I checked my mouse settings in /etc/X11/XF86Config and they are still set
to:

> Protocol "IMPS/2"
> Device "/dev/mouse"

These are the settings i had in slackware, and everything was ok then.

Please let me know if you have any ideas where I could find help with this
problem.
