I remember the case of Seattle airport that you mentioned in your class in Lima. The probability of to have cases of brain neoplasms in a short time ( ten years or more?) would be litte (have you considered that a group of people that was living near the airport being child migrated when they were adult and as a consequence changed their kind of exposition and their risk?). So itīs possible that we'll need to measure the effect of air contamination in the route of the planes through other diseases that will present more early (what about the spatial distribution of Pb concentration in the cases against the controls?). I forgot: I have to expose in a conference organized by authorities of Lima City ("Air Contamination in Lima") about my search: asthma in students of San Marcos University. Did you have any spatial information comparing air pollution and asthma in your city?.
