Young man graduated from a Washington high school after completing his junior and senior year here, has all his ties with Washington, and lives with his 16 year old sister. His parents live in California, but they do not take him on their taxes. However, he is dependent upon them! What would you classify him? 2nd case A young woman wants to move here in June l998, live here for the summer and establish her ties, then return to school at Stanford, maintaining her ties with Washington while she is in school. She would return June of l999, hoping to attend medical school autumn l999. (The answer may be obvious to you on this one, but we had a previous denial of a similar case be overturned by our AG.) Have you had any similar cases and what was the ruling? No rush on a response to these as I will be away until Wed the 5th. Thanks and have a good weekend. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Virjean H..
