There is a 20 year old student that didn't have any trouble prooving she = was a resident of the state of washington. Finanacial aid, however, = discovered conflicting information. It seems her mother also claimed her = as a deduction, as did our student. Financial aid wants to know what I am = going to do about this and I was wondering what they were going to do = about it. the way i see it, residency should still be offered to the student and the = dual deduction seems to be a problem with the mother and the irs. Any comments please? sincerely, paula mays .
