Thought I would begin to post next year's hoops rosters. I will post two at
a time. If I did not include someone or included someone that is no longer
on the team please let me know.

                California

      Frontcourt Backcourt
Alfred Grigsby (6-9,SR) K.J Roberts (5-11,SR)
Michael Stewart (6-10,JR) Randy Duck (6-2,JR)
Sean Marks (6-10,SO) Ed Gray (6-3,JR)
Tremaine Fowlkes (6-6,SO) Prentice McGruder(6-3,JR)
Tony Gonzalez (6-5,SO) Anwar McQueen (6-1,JR)
Shareef Abdur-Rahim (6-8,FR) Jelani Gardner (6-6,SO)
Kenyon Jones (6-10,FR) Jeff Dayton (6-5,FR)

Since Gonzalez is on a football scholarship, Cal has filled the maximum
basketball scholarships of 13. Barring transfers, they will have only two
available for next year. One could have been used for Darnell Robinson, but
it looks like he won't transfer to Cal.

                    UCLA

     Frontcourt Backcourt
Charles O'Bannon (6-6,JR) Kevin Dempsey (6-6,SR)
Ike Nwankwo (6-10,JR) Bob Myers (6-5,JR)
J.R. Henderson (6-8,SO) Cameron Dollar (6-1,JR)
Omma Givens (6-9,SO) Toby Bailey (6-5,SO)
Kris Johnson (6-4,SO) Brandon Loyd (6-0,FR)
Jelani McCoy (6-10,FR) Tommy Prince (6-4,FR)

Unless there is someone I don't know about, UCLA still has one scholarship
available. Since they'll only lose Dempsey next year, they are probably
holding one over for next year to sign Olujimi Mann and Greg Clark, who have
already verbally committed . Does anyone have info on Greg Clark. I've heard
alot about Mann, but little on Clark.

>From the strength of these rosters, these two teams, along with Stanford,
should be considered as the favorites heading into next year.
