This GUIDE offers them invaluable information about the University, adjusting to the Seattle area and graduate life in general. Many students have found this a valuable introduction to the sometimes intricate life of a graduate student. Unfortunately, due to an astronomical increase in the cost of printing the GUIDE, GPSS can not cover the cost of publishing the GUIDE this year. Unfortunately, we are about $3000.00 short. I know this is a tough year for all University departments, but we would like to continue the GUIDE, with your help. If you are able, we need donations for the printing cost of the Guide. No amount is too small, so if you or the students in your department have found the GUIDE useful, please see if there is anyway you could help us continue this valuable service to graduate and professional students. Also, if you know of anyone who might also be able to help us out, please let us know. We will prominently display a list of all departments and individuals who contribute on the title page. We thank you for the suggestions and corrections you have sent in recently. We hope we can find a way to get this valuable information out to next year's incoming graduate and professional students.
