To my knowledge, I am not generally prone to envy.  

But I must confess that I do envy you Classicists, for the advanced internet 
tools that you have available, like the TLG and the Perseus Project [not to 
mention this list].  We Indologists have nothing comparable [except for the 
Indology List, which, however, tends to be overrun now and again by Hindu 
fundamentalists eager to kill the Western imperialist devil -- rather like 
some of our Classics List members, but with far, *far* greater religious 
zeal: these are people who make Hanson & Heath & Thornton seem like tepid 
moderates -- really! I'm not kidding!!  I have a personal attacks / death 
threat folder to prove it!!!  Would I joke about a thing like that?].  

Of course, e-texts of many Sanskrit classics are available at the Indology 
List web site and a few other places [like the IE TITUS web site], but we 
just don't have the resources and funding that you all seem to have.  But 
there is hope.  For example, Michael Witzel of Harvard is working to develop 
some data bases for research into old Indic and Vedic and the substrate 
language[s] discernible there, and there is IE-related activity coming out of 
 UT, Austin Texas.  But we have nothing like the kind of cooperative efforts 
that you have, as in the Suda project, for example....

So, in my view, you all shouldn't feel sorry for yourselves.  Things could be 
far worse for you, as they are for us, the under-funded others, in the realm 
of the classics.....
