We don't hassle US citizens unless they indicate that they have been in the state for less than 2 years or they let slip something that makes us suspicious that there may be a problem. However, the parole is granted only until August 19, 1999. Do I need to request something to show that the parole has been extended beyond that date? Another related question: In your admissions process, do you require non-U.S. citizens to produce documentation of their status, even if they otherwise cause no question of residency (by indicating that they've lived in Washington for 12 months, or were claimed by parents who have lived in Washington for 12 months)? Thanks for your help. Janelle Miner, Registrar Whatcom Community College .
