This study requires coming in for one 2 hour session at our Main Campus in Redmond. I currently have times available during the work day on October 29th and 30th. For this study you will be working one on one with a Usability Engineer on computer running Linux (unfortunately I do not know what version). The Engineer basically wants to see what you like and don't like about Linux so Microsoft can use this information to help improve the windows operating system. As a thanks for coming in, at the end of your study you will get to take home one piece of software or hardware from our gratuity list. (I've pasted a copy below this email) If you are interested in learning more about our Usability Studies be sure to check out our website at http://www.microsoft.com/usability If you are interested in participating, please either send me an email with a day time phone number where I can reach you or call me at my number listed below. Thanks and have a great day. Jeff Glasser Usability Coordinator a-jeffg@microsoft.com 425.706.6347 GRATUITY Upon completion of the study and as a token of our appreciation you may select one software gift from the following list. Allow up to 8 weeks for delivery of software currently not in stock. (If you prefer a Microsoft Press book visit http://mspress.microsoft.com/ to view currently available titles.)
