Re: The Raincoast Conservation Society European Tour

Peter McAllister is Planning a European tour of his slide and
video show on the vanishing temperate coastal rainforests of B.C. beginning
March 15/95 to the end of April and will be showing it in Berlin, Hamburg,
Frankfurt, Edinborough and Glasgow. Peter has also been invited to address
the European Parliament. The focus of the tour is to bring external
pressure to bear on B.C. to change forest harvest practices and protect the
last coastal temperate intact rainforests.

In mid February Peter will be doing a short tour along the Pacific
Northwest coast of the US and B.C.

If you are in Europe or the UK or the Pacific Northwest coast of
the US and B.C. and would like Peter to present to your group please
contact him or email me.

There is an article on Peter's expeditions into the raincoast to
document and inventory the remote raincoast of B.C. and a letter to the
past chief forester that can be accessed at URLs
