My point was that Pasolini purposely chose a beautiful = pubescent male (with gorgeously long eyelashes) to portray the angel, a = creature without gender (or sex, for that matter).=20 Too, the presentation of the Pharisees was as biased in the film as in = the gospel. A very helpful suuplement to the text. A brilliant production, Elias. I agree. It made me go out and rent = Pasolini's Decameron, which I also enjoyed, but it ain't no gospel.
