POSITION TITLE: Immunization Assessment Project Coordinator CLOSING DATE: 6/5/98 (Temporary 3/4 time position, through December 1998) DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: Public Health & Social Services SALARY: $15.00 per hour HOURS OF WORK: 30 per week, generally 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Public Health and Social Services Department will be conducting a project to determine the immunization status of two-year-olds currently residing in Thurston County. The Immunization Assessment Project Coordinator will be responsible for recruitment and training of surveyors, as well as organization and conduct of data collection, media relations, verification of immunization records and will have a large roll in data analysis. The successful candidate will possess strengths in organization and communication skills. Ideally, the Project Coordinator will have background in the medical field. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelors degree in health related field. Experience: At least one year of project management, volunteer coordination or related experience Licenses: Current Washington State Drivers License Equivalents: A combination of education and experience can be substituted for the above requirement.
