Mannering" To: faculty@ce.washington.edu Subject: Structural Position Available at Cal Poly Pomona (fwd) Structural Engineering Faculty Position California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, Department of Civil Engineering, is seeking applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level in structural engineering to begin in September 1999. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and laboratories in structural engineering and related courses, assist in curriculum development, advise students, serve on department, college and university committees, attract external funding, and engage in professional activities. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, a Ph.D. in structural engineering, a minimum of two years of full-time structural engineering experience after the BS degree and good communication skills. University teaching experience and California CE registration are desirable.
