As we get closer and closer to the end of our fun-filled summer, it's time to think about that exciting event coming this winter: the 2002 National Conference! For those who don't know, this is when APO Brothers from across the country gather to learn about APO, get to know each other, share ideas, and have lots of fun. This winter it will be in New Orleans, from December 27 to 30 (although some of us plan to stay until after the new year - New Year's Eve in New Orleans!). That's less than four months away, so if you're interested, now would be a good time to start looking for airline tickets (unless you plan to drive for a looooooong time) and hotel reservations. There's more information on the web at convention.apo.org. If you're interested in finding people to room with (you definitely should - it saves money and is more fun), you can let me know and I'll hook you up, or you can do it yourself by email and/or phone. You'll be hearing LOTS more from me about this, but I just wanted to make sure you're all thinking about it. I hope that everyone is planning on going - the more the merrier! Have a great rest-of-the-summer, and I'll see you at our first GBM if not before. LFS Patti .
