When someone posts an e-mail to the entire mailing list addressed to = either Physiatry@u.washinton.edu or to RPCMail@u.washington.edu = the message is really sent to all of you from this address. For = example.,=20 Paul sends a message to the entire RPC constituency, he does this by = sending an e-mail to one of the above addresses. This = "u.washington.edu" address then fires off a piece of mail to each and = everyone on the list. In the message body it says it is from Paul, but = it is not really, it comes to you from "u.washington.edu". So.... Let's = say I want to reply to Paul's global notice. I hit reply and.... it is = sent back to the entire mailing list and not to Paul. So the brief version is, if you would like to reply to one of us that = posts to an entire mailing list, then you will have to address your = reply directly to that person. There may be a better way, but for now, = start a new e-mail and address it to the person directly, or if you care = to, hit reply, but go in and change the "send to" address. I hope that this wasn't too long-winded. Please write to me for ANY = questions. Do this NOT by hitting reply, but address another e-mail = note to my e-mail as listed below. Unless you would like to address the = entire group. Thank You all for learning and becoming proficient with this new means = of communication, Regards from Philly, Mike Michael Hatzakis, Jr MD Resident Physiatrist - R3 Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Department of Rehabilitation Medicine Philadelphia, PA E-Mail: hatzaki1@jeflin.tju.edu .
