You are invited. Please feel free to bring friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, or anyone whom you think I really should have sent this e-mail to but failed for whatever reason, be it absent-mindedness or genuine inability to send mail. (Technically my birthday is Friday the 13th, but Valentine's Day seemed more convenient; if you have a romantic dinner planned, etc., feel free to stop by afterwards. You can also show up early if you live really far away or just want to help make cupcakes.) I live at 2233 NE 46th St., Apt. 107, which is very close to campus; my phone number is (206) 729-7236. Driving directions follow, though you should be aware that street parking can be difficult to find; if you're walking, you can simply find 22nd Ave. and then turn right into 46th St. (Note that 46th stops and starts.) Here are directions assuming you're coming from Portland (I assume Seattle-ites can translate): Take I-5 north to Seattle. Take the 45th street exit. Turn right on 45th street. Turn left on 20th street. (There's a light.) Turn right at the first street, which is 47th. Follow 47th down the hill. It will curve right, pass a gravel parking lot, and end on 22nd Ave. Find a place to park! Our apartment is on 46th avenue, which can be reached by taking a right on 22nd, and then immediately taking a left. However, you will want to park first, as we have no parking. We live in the Bayview apartments, at the end of 46th street (the address is 2233), on the right. Our apartment is #107, which is the closest to the street. UAW .
