We are scouring the web to develop a "killer" database of links to small business sites and articles, all consistently graded so hat a user can come to the WebWorkz and know that their search for information will be more quickly rewarded here than on any other site. The person hired for this contract (short-term) position would be responsible for the following: * managing the actual Access database (we currently have 1308 links there already) * developing a system to incorporate new links forwarded from other editors * managing interns required for data entry (currently 2 interns @ 20 hours per week) * Organizing the data into an information structure that allows a visitor to get to his or her desired information in 3 clicks or less * Developing a keyword scheme that will be used to power a site-based search engine (probably Index server) * implementing a grading system for sites The ideal person for this position loves the web, knows Microsoft Access, organizes and reorganizes information for fun, thinks about efficiency, works quickly, and is immediately available.
