Hearty congratualations to all of you that graduated. I'm sorry that I could not be to celebrate it!! sorry. I'm starting to get used to it here in Alameda, CA. It's an island located right next to San Francisco. Weatherwise, I would say it's just like home. ^^ And last evening, I preached my first sermon here. It went very smoothly and I'm very thankful for that. (I had to preach once and translate an hour presentation into Korean and teach a sunday school and preside a morning service, just prior to the evening service when I preached to the home congregation in the evening - it was one crazy day... ^^) All praise to Him that provides more than we can muster!! Guys, it was great getting to know you last year. Thank you for all your love and friendship. And thank you for the "Big" card. I appreciated many of your remarks!! Recently I read two books and I really enjoyed them, so I thought I would recommend them to you if you are looking for some books to read this summer. ^^ (1) "What's so amazing about grace?" by Philip Yancey. (2) "Quest for Love." by Elizabeth Elliot. I have a few objections to the 2nd book, but nevertheless I would say that both books are immensely helpful, so enjoy them if you can. Ok, friends, His tender and faithful care to you all this summer and see you in August!! In His implacable grace, Simon. .
