Hello Everybody! My name is Orn Phin and I'm going to offer Khmer classes during this fall quarter. I am tentatively planning to offer two classes. One class is for beginners and the other is for the advanced. The beginner class will introduce basics of the Khmer language. For example, we will learn the alphabet, vowel, and reading and writing vocabulary and phases. The advanced class will focus on reading and writing short passages. I am planning to offer the beginner class on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:00 and the advanced class on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the same time. thanks, Orn > You can read this article that was published from the Office of Minority > Affairs Quarterly Newsletter (Spr 01) to learn how the class got started. > > http://www.oma.washington.edu/HTMLS/100650.Contact%20Spring.pdf > (page 3) > > Classes will most likely be held again in the > Instructional Center (near Ethnic Cultural Center). > > Ms Orn Phin is currently a senior in the psychology department.
