I agree with Prof Willett : the Fondazione Lorenzo Valla collection is a very useful one. You have always a good text (with apparatus criticus under — negative, as far I used it —), a good translation (with testimonia on the same page), and a complete commentary which makes use of the more recent bibliography. There is always an index nominum, (but, alas, only for the names in the text, not these in the commentary) and sometimes maps. It is one of the most useful, actually, at least for Plutarch and Orosius — I have not seen the others). Et deux signets (bookmarks) fixés sur la tranchefile pour passer du texte au commentaire.
