The positions and the company are located in Springfield, MO. Applicants should send a complete resume including education, experience, references, and other pertinent information to Ozark Structures P.O. Box 4246 Springfield, MO 65808 Both positions require a good knowledge of building construction and offer a chance to put to use the applicant's technical training. Previous experience in construction practices, either in design or in field construction, would be very helpful. Prior knowledge in manufactured buildings is also useful. Engineering Trainee: Knowledge of wood roof and floor truss design would be very helpful. This employee will perform structural calculations on wood, steel (both cold formed and hot rolled), foundation calculations, and some concrete design. Computer application to design problems is required. Architectural Design/Detailing: The applicant must be very familiar with AutoCAD as applied to architectural design and detailing. Since we manufacture from shop drawings prepared by our staff, accuracy in design approach is absolutely necessary.
