The basic duties of a peer reviewer are to read and critique 7 - 10 proposals using a formatted evaluation form. Reviewers will have approximately 2 weeks to do this process and send them back to OSPI. Each proposal will be read by at least 2 reviewers. In order to better match proposals with reviewers, reviewers will identify at least one of the nine conference strands (Lifelong Learning, Social Justice & Diversity, International, Youth Involvement, Spirituality, Environment, Research and Policy, Community Development, Academic Excellence) that may be their specialty or general interest area. If you are interested in being a peer reviewer or have questions about the process, please contact Nasue Nishida at OSPI no later than Friday, September 14, 2001. She can be reached by phone at 360.725.6104, or by email at nishida@ospi.wednet.edu. .
