One of the faculty members in our department is having surgery and will be out of commission through the end of the semester. I've been elected to finish out his class on "International Issues in Wildlife Conservation", a subject about which I know little (certainly not enough to teach a class). The prof who's been teaching the course doesn't use notes or even a syllabus, he just walks in and ad libs; with years and years of agency experience, he can get away with that. I can't. Does anybody have any ideas for me? Specific references to books and articles, syllabi, etc., anything. Thanks in advance.
